AC installation

We have a 2000 238 Vista owned by dad. we're thinking about adding some AC to for those hot summer days. Has anyone tried this on the same boat and have any tips on where's the best spot to mount the unit would be? we're planning the install soon so any advice on placement from your installs would be helpful! thanks!

We did put an AC unit in our buddy's 238 Vista last summer. We placed it under the mid berth seat and vented out through the galley. It's a little tight but it works like a charm! Just make sure you have a superb drainage system or you're gonna be left with puddles everywhere.

Make sure to pick a spot that has good ventilation and easy access for maintenance and yeah, mind the weight distribution so it doesn't throw off your balance
