My buddy's got this 1999 Four Winns 258 Vista that I'm trying to help him get sorted, and we've hit a snag.

His power trim just won't work at all. We're thinking it's probably a blown fuse, but man, we cannot for the life of us find the fuse box! Or boxes, even.

Does anyone out there know where the fuse box (or boxes) are located on a 1999 Four Winns 258 Vista? We've looked everywhere we can think of. Any pointers would be a huge help so we can get this trim working again!

I don't want to sound like a wizeass, but wouldn't he user manual or repair manual help you with this? The repair manual might also help you sort or at least identify the problem.

I'm not sure about your model but I think the main fuse box is usually under the helm or inside the console near the gauges and sometimes there's a secondary fuse panel near the battery or engine compartment too, if you haven't checked those spots, that's where I'd start

It's ridiculous how hidden some fuse boxes are on boats like the 258 Vista, basic maintenance shouldn't feel like an escape room puzzle...a power trim fuse shouldn't take a flashlight and two hours to find.
