replacing VDO gauges of Four Winns 238 Vista

My uncle is looking to get some advice on a project for his boat. He has a 2002 Four Winns 238 Vista and is trying to replace the original VDO gauges.

He's not a fan of the integrated VDO system and wants to swap it out for individual gauges. He's heard that Four Winns used to make a panel specifically for this kind of conversion.

Has anyone here done a project like this before? Any tips or guidance on how to swap out these gauges would be a huge help!

The key is finding the right panel that fits the 238 Vista dash, some aftermarket kits are made to bolt in without cutting. Most of the work is wiring, you'll need to match the sending units to the new individual gauges
