Electric trim tabs to 2000 FW 245 Sundowner

I'm seriously considering adding electric trim tabs to our 2000 FW 245 Sundowner. Anyone who's done something similar? I'm interested to know where you mounted them and if there are any changes, good or bad, you've noticed?

Thats a good move for smoother rides and better control. Most people mount them near the transom, and you'll likely see better stability and maybe even improved fuel economy. Installation can be a bit of a hassle depending on your boat, though. What brand or setup you have in mind??

Once you've used trim tabs, you'll wonder how you ever boated without them...not installing them from the factory on cruisers like the 245 Sundowner feels like a cost-cutting miss, handling and ride quality improve instantly.
