Alarm Sounding

My 2006 205 Sundowner, 5.o liter Merc has an alarm that goes off as you as it's started and then seems to goes off about every three mins. I removed the depth finder gauge thinking this was the problem because when it went off I would push the depth finder gauge and it would stop only for a few minutes

It still makes a beeping noise even without the depth finder gauge connected. Engine oil level is fine.

Any ideas.

Since it keeps going even with the depth finder unplugged, it's likely something else , could be the oil pressure or temperature sensor acting up. Oil level's good, so i'd check those sensors next.
